I have just graduated from Ursuline Academy. I am going to be a freshman in college at Carnegie Mellon University, a very prestigious university in Pittsburgh. I am planning on studying business administration. I am looking to tutor kids for standardized tests that they may be taking throughout high school. I was recognized as a National Merit Commended Student by the College Board.
Experience
34/36 composite ACT 36/36 superscored ACT 780/800 Math SAT II subject tests. 5/5 on AP Statistics 5/5 AP Macroeconomics 5/5 AP Microeconomics. As a student who has recently finished these examinations herself, I can directly relate to the stress of standardized testing, college admissions, etc. I have taken classes, done private tutoring, and found strategies that actually help improve scores. I volunteered in a peer tutoring program at my high school, and helped multiple students improve their grades in Honors Geometry courses. I also have helped multiple friends prepare for the ACT.

Hobbies
I am available immediately through late August, when I will be leaving for school. I have two other jobs, but they are both part-time and have very flexible schedules. Since I am a student on summer vacation as well, I anticipate that my schedule will be similar to other high school aged students. My rates are negotiable and I am willing to work out a package deal. In conclusion, I am looking to make a little bit of extra money before leaving for college and enjoy helping other students with their studies.
